Asset strategy advisory
Human reality and figures – a tough combination
An examination of asset strategy means the possession at the outset of detailed knowledge of the client’s goals and constraints in relation to an acquisition, a valuation and later the transfer of personal assets, taking into account all the legal and tax aspects of the implementation of that strategy. Grasping as a whole all the aspects related to those assets, the analysis thus con-solidates them all, both professional or private, with all their diverse characteristics.
It then involves suggesting to the client a methods-based follow-up to ensure that the strategy is adjusted to match changes in the client’s goals and context.
Decisions are taken on the basis of the figures, using:
- detailed analysis of assets and liabilities,
- projection of financial flows over time for measurement of the following at all points:
- the impact of variations in income and expenditure on saving capacity and need for additional income,
- the impact of tax liabilities on the whole range of income sources,
- consideration for the constraints as well as the financial and tax opportunities,
and they are revalidated at least once a year.
